IS THE EVIE RING WATERPROOF?
The Evie Ring has been tested under water at a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes. This means you can wear your Evie Ring while you wash your hands and shower. You can even wear your Evie Ring while surface swimming, including in saltwater. Please dry your Evie Ring thoroughly after exposure to water.
CARING FOR YOUR EVIE RING:
We recommend removing your Evie Ring when applying products such as lotions, oils, hand sanitizers, or sunscreens. We also recommend avoiding exposure to household cleaners, cleaning wipes, or other cleaning products. In addition, please remove your Evie Ring prior to any personal care treatments, such as a manicure, and avoid exposure to acetone.
HOW TO CLEAN YOUR EVIE RING:
We recommend you periodically clean the inside of your Evie Ring using a damp cloth or with mild dish soap and water. Please dry your Evie Ring thoroughly after exposure to water.
HOW TO KEEP YOUR EVIE RING APP UPDATED:
Please make sure your Evie Ring App is up to date! If you have automatic updates enabled on your iPhone, your Evie Ring App will update automatically. If you don't have automatic updates enabled on your iPhone, open the App Store (US only), search for "Evie Ring," select the "Evie Ring" app, and press the "Update" button.
TIPS FOR ACCURATE DATA:
For best results, please ensure you are wearing your ring with the opening/design side up. In addition, your ring should not turn easily on your finger. A snug (but comfortable) fit is preferable for data. Both Evie Ring firmware and Evie Ring App should also be up to date!
BATTERY LIFE TIPS:
We recommend charging your ring when you jump in the shower, or during quick car rides, to top up your battery and avoid having it drain (or having to charge it for a longer time)!
HOW TO SYNC YOUR DATA:
Your Evie Ring App syncs in two ways: automatic and manual. To complete a "manual sync", please pull down on the My Body page with your finger. This triggers the app to sync.
